I’ve made peace with my demons, now for the better
So no matter the weather now we work together
We both help each other when we stop to question
All of the things building up our ascension
You see this progression you know we ain’t messing
I never sold drugs but I’m quick with the session
But I never mentioned,
All that’s been up in my head when I go to bed
which makes me feel dead,
Has left an impression

But no need to fret, I never did bet
That this little test of mine would be the best to my mind
I think about time and space and knowing your place
It’s all about balance, the way we discover ourselves we put up a challenge
It’s always for better, don’t ever forget sir
That when you remember all your months like November, December
You’ll see there’s a center

A place for us all, where we rise up tall, you’ll see that everyone falls
I look forward to it personally, because when it is first degree
It is self-inflicted, just take a step back when you feel constricted
You think you’re restricted, but what’s all the doubt for
There’s much to explore, I implore you to look to adore
And look for the doors, not just unlocked
There’s more to this life than inside the box
Your sly as a fox but dumb like a shih tzu

The difference between me and you is when I am feeling blue
I look for the answers, I use all the clues
I fill others shoes even when I don’t have to
You see that is so vital, you look at your idle, still filling your ego
We must let it go, we fill up this life just trying to do right but always the opposite
It’s not about power or who you devour, it’s good to be dominant but not overconfident

At the end of the day, your demons will stay
So what do you say when they come to play
Look in their eyes, you’ll see their disguise
It’s filled with despise but so close to demise
And when you realize that with the right guide
You’ll feel good inside, there’s no need to hide

Everyone has tried to put aside their pride but it’ll come back
But there’s no need to fear when you hold it dear you won’t feel hijacked
It might take some time to unpack all the baggage you have
And no matter the setback, you’ll stay and attack
Your mind is the coach, your demons assist
But you are the quarterback

What you say will go but you gotta show
That no matter the pressure you will still throw
It can go out of bounds, it can get intercepted
But it’s a part of the game so you can expect it
There’s a lot of respect when you can reflect
And practice your moves until you perfect
There’s a reason why it’s called a cause and effect

Take responsibility and then you will see
That all the ups and downs won’t change durability
As long as you filter your fragile hostility
Then once we’re in unison you’ll hear the symphony.
