But it’s still expected

Because nobody knows what’s true company
When you think your life’s a T
But really it’s just V
You find yourself in a ditch that you feel you can’t flee
From all this fucking negativity, it’s clouding the world
I took the bitch of life by the hand and made her twirl
You gotta understand that she’s really just a girl
That wants all the same things for her life to uncurl
From all this fucking treachery that nobody can see
They hide behind the same masks that they want to believe

But really we’re all the same
We all want the house on the hills it’s really just a shame
That we have “limited” resources that’s all used up
While everyone questioned this generation pouring up
With 20/20 vision it only takes you so far
It’s like yeah I can rhyme but really is that a bar
But let me be clear just like the year ahead of us
Not like this foggy window in my foreign boring car
I say that it’s so boring just because it gets old
When we realize that normal’s boring we stop doing what we’re told

But it takes a lot of heart it takes a lot of soul
To really be yourself nowadays you must be bold
You can’t pay attention to those that bring you down
But clowns frown the most, now isn’t that ironic
It’s what makes me smoke this chronic just waiting for my crown
But nobody wants the fame if there’s nobody around

My mind is so ahead I don’t understand why you can’t see
That you’re stepping into the lions pit why can’t we just be
Two ordinary people, all the same species
Fighting for this God that really just deals feces
I believe in good energy, well really it’s all perspective
Is this system really working if it’s not effective

Instead it’s all destructive, and harmful to the poor
When truly they see more than the ones that live galore
But your appetite changes, you’ll always want more
Try to keep others in mind cause when it rains it pours.
